Postcard is like a starting point of dialogue between two people. Delivering inspiration to somebody while traveling. Condensing a sense of journalism in a limited space (kind of like twitter, I suppose).

I love the process of sending a message in a way that takes time (longer than one click on a mouse). Don't you feel a beautiful delayed gratification when you receive something in your mailbox?

So my plan is to send original cards from STORY-OF as well as other postcards I love and collect to someone special in my life.

One postcard a day!

10.01.09: to Paula in N. Ireland (via the Benevolent Postcard Society) I thought the warm California glow in this photo can bring some warmth to N. Ireland (I am assuming that they are just getting into fall/winter season…) I love the day I get to send multiple cards. It feels like my life is well balanced:)
