Postcard is like a starting point of dialogue between two people. Delivering inspiration to somebody while traveling. Condensing a sense of journalism in a limited space (kind of like twitter, I suppose).

I love the process of sending a message in a way that takes time (longer than one click on a mouse). Don't you feel a beautiful delayed gratification when you receive something in your mailbox?

So my plan is to send original cards from STORY-OF as well as other postcards I love and collect to someone special in my life.

One postcard a day!

09.02.09: to Jane & Dale in San Diego, CA. I wrote this card on the morning of Day 3 at Burning Man. Telling them that I go to sleep with music and wake up with music and I feel like I am living in a never ending cirques/festival.  Photo is taken at right outside of our base camp.
