About

Postcard is like a starting point of dialogue between two people. Delivering inspiration to somebody while traveling. Condensing a sense of journalism in a limited space (kind of like twitter, I suppose).

I love the process of sending a message in a way that takes time (longer than one click on a mouse). Don't you feel a beautiful delayed gratification when you receive something in your mailbox?

So my plan is to send original cards from STORY-OF as well as other postcards I love and collect to someone special in my life.

One postcard a day!

08.26.09: To my little sister Narumi.
Japanese text read as, “The most honorable thing is your heart that can be moved and touched by emotions”. She is starting highschool soon so just letting her know that I am only a phone call away when/if she needs help in anything.
